Put the numbers side by side and: River Bingo is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. In short, this is fine for short play, less so for long sessions.

The game catalogue

River Bingo does not have to respect the Belgian assortment framework: a catalogue of slots, live casino and crash games. Without a licence, EPIS and the statutory deposit limit go too.

The Belgian format revolves around dice games: Dice of Fortune, Mega Wheels, Infinity Dice, the suppliers behind it — Air Dice, Gaming1 — work mainly for Belgium.

What the Gaming Commission says

River Bingo is not registered with the Belgian regulator. The regulator's black list — over 900 addresses — names riverbingo.

Without a licence there is no EPIS and no mandatory weekly ceiling. What goes wrong is settled outside the Belgian framework. A self-set limit is your only brake here.

Limits, age and EPIS

The rules on player protection here run more tightly than the Netherlands or France with effects you cannot route around. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200. Lowering it is immediate, upwards, a review and a delay apply.

Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: a single request is enough to stay out everywhere at once. Reversing it is not immediate. For casino, gaming hall and betting the bar has been 21 since September 2024; only the National Lottery stays at 18. Age is verified at registration.

Paying from Belgium follows a predictable pattern: money goes in via Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, with a bank transfer as the only way out. Since March 2026 the Payconiq by Bancontact app is officially called Bancontact Pay. Bancontact is tied to virtually every Belgian debit card, with a minimum deposit that usually sits at €5.

Per transaction Bancontact Pay lets €1500 through, and €2500 per day. Deposits land instantly; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, and the operator adds its own check on top.

Signup, KYC and support

Registration looks similar at every operator: identity details that match, and a check on them. An ID document and an address document will be requested. Make sure account holder and player are the same person.

Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Keep the confirmation e-mails of your deposits; they are your only foothold if things go wrong.

Lowering the weekly limit worked right away, which I appreciated.

FAQ

Do I have to declare winnings?

No — gambling winnings fall outside personal income tax. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ. This has been the Belgian rule for years.

Does River Bingo hold a Belgian licence?

No. River Bingo holds no Belgian licence and appears on the Gaming Commission's black list. Anyone wanting certainty looks the name up at the Gaming Commission. Status can change; re-check the list if in doubt.

From what age may I play?

21 — that has been the rule since the 2024 reform, National Lottery aside. This is not a guideline but a statutory limit. This is verified at registration.

Can I deposit with Bancontact at River Bingo?

Depositing with Bancontact works; the money comes back through your bank account. The deposit shows on your account immediately. A different name on the account blocks the payout.
